The opening races of the SA jumps season take place this Sunday 15 March at Oakbank, with the 2900m Somerled Wines Hurdle and the 3250m Thomas Foods International Steeplechase.

Both races have reasonably-sized, good quality fields and so we should see some lively racing, with a number of horses having had a good deal of success here in SA, notably Urban Explorer and King Triton, and it is hard to go past these two.
