South Australian Greens MLC Tammy Franks has introduced a Bill to the South Australian parliament to ban jumps racing in the state.

This petition, to Premier Jay Weatherill and Racing Minister Leon Bignell, urges them to stick to their pre-election promise for the future of jumps racing in South Australia to remain under the auspices of Thoroughbred Racing SA, and for the government to stay out of it.

Sign the petition to make the government aware that the Australian jumps racing fraternity—and the wider horse racing industry—would consider this a betrayal of the first water should the Premier go back on his firm commitments, made both in public and in private correspondence.
